The Technical Review phase of a construction project involves reviewing the design and technical specifications to ensure they meet the required standards and regulations. The design team’s main responsibility in this process is to review all technical requirements and specification, including to review project compliance with relevant regulations. Our engineering team is responsible for the planning, schedule, and cost review to ensure the project is feasible and within budget. Furthermore, with support from our Obayashi APRHQ, our Design and Engineering Departments work collaboratively to identify cost-saving or schedule improvement opportunities. Effective communication and collaboration between the departments is crucial to ensure the project will be properly executed in accordance to required design specifications, client requirements, and relevant regulations.
