When I first hired as a young manager in Jaya Obayashi, I had concerns that my voice might not be valued as much as my other senior colleagues. Over the years, however, never once I have ever felt undervalued or being treated differently. “Am I able to fit in?” that’s my initial thought when I first joined Jaya Obayashi. I’d never thought that with my interior design background, I’d have the chance to work as an architect engineer in a general contractor office. Starting my career as a field supervisor, I’ve got the chance to get on-site experience that has given me a better understanding on technical details to be considered in my design. I was blessed to be given opportunities to serve in various roles across multiple departments in Jaya Obayashi. Starting my career as an engineer in estimation and construction department, I climbed my way up to management position as a site manager.
